How can I trade at AMDAX?

Simple – just go through the sign up process. Write us an email, call us or follow the sign up link on our website. After successfully completing the compliance process you will be given access to the AMDAX platform where you can buy, sell and store digital currencies. You can also trade via phone or WhatsApp (if that is your preference).

Which crypto currencies can I buy or trade?

We offer a wide range of crypto currencies. Our primary focus is on bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH). We service the following trading pairs:

How does pricing work at AMDAX?

Are there minimum/maximum transaction sizes?

To become a client of AMDAX, the minimum investment amount is €25,000 (in euros or crypto currencies). Our private investment management service is available to clients with a minimum investment of €250,000 (in euros or crypto currencies). After the initial investment amount is deposited, there is no transaction minimum or maximum.

Who can open an account with AMDAX?

Our clients are high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients (personal holdings, corporations, etc.) and financial institutions.

Do I need to deposit money with AMDAX?

When you first start trading with AMDAX you have to deposit money into your virtual IBAN account.

How do I deposit money into my AMDAX account?

Our bank creates a virtual IBAN account for each customer. When you want to make a deposit, you can transfer the money to this personal virtual IBAN account.

Does AMDAX have a storage or custody service for crypto?

AMDAX offers a storage service for your digital currency. The security of that storage is done through Multi-Party Computation (MPC). As with a multi-signature (multi-sig) configuration, a private key within an MPC-based solution is never created or stored in a single location. MPC technology protects the key(s) from theft by cybercriminals as well as internal fraud, preventing any employee (or group of employees) from stealing the digital currency.

Can I exchange my crypto currency for euros at any time?

At AMDAX you can exchange your crypto currency for Euros at any time. AMDAX does not lend your cryptocurrency, lock the cryptocurrency or otherwise restricts you in the use of the cryptocurrency, unless we agree otherwise with you. We are a full reserve custodian. This means that at AMDAX all outstanding assets are 100% covered by the reserves in our vault.

Where is my data stored?

All customer data is stored in a secure warehouse. It is only accessible by the customer and authorised AMDAX personnel. As with any business, and as a regulated Dutch financial institution in particular, securing client data is our highest priority. Our policies and technical approach reflect this.

I entered incorrect information during my customer onboarding process. Can I change it?

Yes, you can. Changes to the profile (such as a change of address or changing an expired ID) can be made directly by you. Some information needs to be checked for completeness and accuracy. In that case, a change in profile data triggers an (internal) approval process. We aim to validate all information within 24 hours. Please note that intentionally providing false information for fraudulent reasons may lead to account closure and a report to the relevant authorities.

I do not have access to the Internet. Can I call AMDAX to make a transaction?

Yes, you can call us at +31-882632900 and submit a trade over the phone. Please note that you will be asked for verification information before you can submit your trade.
